The Coopers Ruritan Club, on South NC 58 in Nashville, will host a BBQ Chicken Sale on Friday, September 25 from 11 am to 6 pm. Plates are $8 each – drive-thru only.
VFW Auxiliary Post 2057 in Rocky Mount will host its annual yard sale on Saturday, October 3 beginning at 7 am. Tables are $10 each. They will also be collecting non-perishable food items for homeless veterans in the area.
Southern Nash FFA will hold a Boston Butt Sale on Friday, November 20 from 3 to 6 pm at Southern Nash High School in Bailey. Cost is $30, and you must reserve yours by November 4. Call Stuart to order, at 252-813-5067.
The Blood Connection will host a blood drive on Thursday, November 5 from 2 to 6 pm at the Rocky Mount Mills. All donors will receive a $10 gift card (while supplies last) and a $10 donation will be made to the United Way Tar River Region for each donor that participates.
It’s that time of year again! Nash County 4-H is holding a food drive to benefit local food banks. Donations can include: canned goods, dry goods, non-perishable items, and toiletries. Help Nash 4-H help others. Drop off at the farmers market or Ag Center through November 21st.
