The Pitt County Relay for Life will take place on Saturday, October 9th from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Eastern Radiologists on West Arlington Blvd in Greenville.  This year’s event will be a drive thru and all are welcome!

Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Elm City will have a concert celebrating the 51st anniversary of the Oak Grove Boys on Saturday, October 9th from 7-9pm.  Admission is free and a love offering will be accepted.  The church is located at 5921 Bridgersville Road in Elm City.

The 2021 Four County Poultry Show and Sale will take place on Saturday, October 23rd at Vance County Regional Farmers Market – located at 210 South Park Drive in Henderson.  Poultry Check-in begins at 3 and the show will start at 4:15. All are welcome!

The Rocky Mount Moose Lodge #938 will be serving a chicken pastry dinner on Saturday, October 23 at 6pm. At 8pm, the Oak Grove Boys will perform.  Dinner and music are $15 per person, or the cost is $10 per person for just the concert.  Children under 12 are free with a paid adult.

VFW post 2057 will host a blood drive on Wednesday, October 27th from 2 to 7pm.  Appointments can be made online at thebloodconnection.org and searching sponsor code 7167.  Walk-ins are also welcome.

The 9th annual “Run for Your Life” Road and Trail Race will take place on Saturday, October 30th.  The Run benefits the Edgecombe Cancer Support Foundation and starts at 9am at Tarboro Brewing company.
