The Red Cross Gala will take place on Thursday, April 27th from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Union Station (510 W Martin Street) in Raleigh. Individual tickets are $250 and can be purchased at redcross.org.

Peacemakers’ Annual Benefit Golf Tournament will take place on April 28th with a 1:00 shotgun start. The cost is $400 per team with includes lunch. Register at rockymountpeacemakers.org.
An All-Night Gospel Sing will occur at the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church (5921 Bridgersville Road) in Elm City on April 28th. Doors open at 6:00 and singing starts at 7. This event features 6 Southern Gospel Groups. Admission is free, but a love offering will be taken. Food will be available.
Pitt County Relay for Life Pitt County Relay for Life – Friday, April 28th; South Central High School (570 Forlines Road) in Winterville; survivor lap at 6:00 pm; caregiver lap following; Luminaria Ceremony (luminaria bags that are dedicated in honor or in memory of a loved one) at 9:00; closing ceremony at 9:30.
The Englewood Baptist Church (1350 S. Winstead Avenue) in Rocky Mount is hosting a Senior Adult Breakfast on Saturday, April 29th at 9:00 AM in the Lewis Building. Register for the event at englewoodbaptist.com.

The Disabled American Veterans Twin County Chapter is dedicated with assisting area veterans with transportation to their scheduled appointments. The transportation network must have volunteer drivers to continue to aid these wounded warriors. If you are interested in being a volunteer driver, call (252) 212-5568 and leave a message. The coordinator will return your call.
Triangle Land Conservancy and the Raleigh Astronomy Club are holding First Friday Under the Stars on Friday, May 5th from 7:30 until 11:00 pm. This event will take place at Three Bears Private Reserve (711 Beaver Dam Road) in Creedmoor. The event is free, but registration is required. Register at triangleland.org.
Louisburg United Methodist Church’s annual Flea Market will be on Saturday, May 6th, from 7 until noon. The event will be held inside the Fellowship Hall (103 E Noble Street, Louisburg). Profits will go towards renovation of our playground to aid our preschool.
