Flag Presentation Ceremony

The Joint Veterans Committee of Nash and Edgecombe Counties will be performing a flag presentation ceremony at Jack Laughery Veterans Memorial Park, 321 N. The Rocky Mount Animal Services Unit is hosting a Dog Festival Saturday, August 17th at the Best Friend’s Dog Park 480 North Lee Street.  Signup for the festival begins at 10 am followed by a Dog Race, Dog Fashion Show and Dog’s Got Talent show.
