Heroes Field of Honor will be returning to the Fellowship Church in Nashville again this year on September 8th through the 11th. The VFW Post 2057 and Sharpsburg Exchange Club will host the event that focuses on honoring the military, police, firefighters, medical first responders, teachers, and other heroes that through service and sacrifice have earned the nation’s gratitude for getting everyone through the pandemic. On Sunday at 5:30 there will be a special ceremony to recognize the heroes that the flags represent. To sponsor a flag for your hero is $50. Order by calling 252-977-3719.
