The Joint Veterans Committee of Nash and Edgecombe Counties will be holding a flag raising ceremony at Jack Laughery Park in Rocky Mount on August 19th at 10 am. This month the committee will be presenting a flag to the family of Henry H Black, a Sergeant Major in the US Marines. The public is encouraged to attend.
