The joint Veterans Committee of Nash and Edgecombe Counties will hold a flag raising ceremony at Jack Laughery Park in Rocky Mount on June 17th beginning at 10 am. Each month, the committee honors a deceased local veteran and their family by presenting them with a flag flown over the park the previous moth in their honor.
