The Joint Veterans Committee of Nash and Edgecombe Counties will be performing a flag presentation ceremony at Jack Laughery Veterans Memorial Park, 321 N. Church St., Rocky Mount, N.C., on Saturday, October 19th at 11:00 AM to honor James (Jim) M. House, United States Army. This event is held monthly except for May and November. Those months we honor all veterans on Memorial day and Veterans Day. The service is free to an honorably discharged veterans’ family of all branches who served our great nation.
