On Christmas Eve, we’ve planned special programming at the top of every hour from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., features that are intended as celebration and affirmation, to encourage you, your family, and your friends.
At 5:00 p.m., a little history, Christmas during World War I, followed by the moving John McCutcheon song, “Christmas In The Trenches.”
Then, at 6:00 p.m., you can hear North Carolina’s own Charlie Daniels recounting his magical personal story, “A Carolina Christmas Carol.”
At 7:00 p.m., we’ll present our traditional Life 103.1 version of “The Night Before Christmas,” read by the children of our very own Life 103.1 staff family.
And at 8:00 p.m., you can hear Tim Nelson, Life 103.1’s Sunday morning HeartSong host, reading the amazing account of that first Christmas as described in the second chapter of Luke.
Then, at 9:00 p.m., we’ll again hear the legendary Paul Harvey with his timeless Christmas parable, “The Man and The Birds.”
